The Business Advisory Council acts as a link to the business community. Its purpose is to assist Goodwill in achieving its mission by promoting employment opportunities for individuals participating in Goodwill’s job training and career services programs, and by providing advice and counsel on trends and developments in the labor market.

The Goodwill Stores are run as social enterprises, meaning they support Goodwill’s mission to provide job training for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment while also providing jobs and good quality, low-cost goods to individuals and families looking for value.

Cleo Lewis: Connections Make the Future Bright
Sometimes the connection to Goodwill is so strong, Goodwill becomes like family. That is how it has been for Cleo Lewis, a bright sophomore at Charlestown High School, who has been enrolled in Goodwill’s after-school program, BNY Mellon Academy for Girls, since she was in grade school.
